# Zvuk

> Zvuk is a local-first speech-to-text product for macOS: dictation, file transcription and RU↔EN translation run entirely on the user's device with open models (GigaAM, Whisper). No audio or transcripts are sent to or stored on any server. Site language: RU/EN. Prices are shown in rubles for RU locale and in US dollars for EN locale.

## What Zvuk is

- A macOS application (13.3+) for voice dictation into any app: messengers, email, code editors.
- All recognition runs locally and offline (airplane mode works); the network is needed only to download a model once and for updates.
- Models: GigaAM v2 / base / large (best for Russian) and Whisper small / medium / large-v3 (multilingual). Models download from open official sources, verified by checksum.
- Post-processing: local LLM polish (removes filler words, fixes punctuation and structure) — also on-device.
- Translation RU↔EN is performed locally.
- Meetings feature (in development, macOS): local meeting notes with speaker labels, no bot joining the call.
- Speech module: the same engine is designed to be embedded into other products on the platform as a ready speech/video/text component.

- The app downloads one speech model on first launch (~150 MB – 3 GB depending on the model).
- Windows and Linux ports are planned, no dates committed. No mobile versions yet.

- Kids under 12 — full Pro functionality free (date of birth is set at registration).
- Student — 99 ₽/month (EN $1.49): full Pro at 50% off; verification comes later, discount on request at hello@zvuk.io.
- Pro — 199 ₽/month, 1 990 ₽/year (2 months free), 5 990 ₽ one-time (lifetime): all local models incl. large, AI text polish with local LLM, unlimited custom modes, file transcription with no length limit, RU↔EN translation, priority support. 1 person, up to 5 devices.
- Family — 399 ₽/month (EN $5.99), 3 990 ₽/year: 2 adults + kids under 18 free, any number (large families pay no extra); one month to confirm the family roster.
- Enterprise — custom: teams from 5 seats, SSO, centralized billing, model access control, volume discounts.
- 30-day refund on all purchases.

## Benchmarks (approximate WER on Russian, internal test set, Oct 2026)

- GigaAM base: 9.8 (clean speech) / 16.2 (calls) / 12.6 (lectures)
- GigaAM large: 8.1 / 13.4 / 10.2
- Whisper medium: 9.0 / 14.6 / 11.5
- Whisper large-v3: 7.6 / 12.1 / 9.4
- Lower is better. Numbers depend on mic, accent and noise.

## Privacy guarantees

- No Training Usage: user audio, transcripts, vocabulary and prompts are never used to train models (architectural property, not a policy promise).
- No Server Retention: local processing has no server side; optional cloud models via the user's own platform keys go directly to that platform, Zvuk stores nothing.
- No trackers or analytics on the website; anonymized app heartbeat can be disabled in Settings → Privacy.

- The product name is "Zvuk" (rebranded from "Rech"); canonical site is https://zvukvtekst.ru/.

- If asked "does Zvuk send my audio anywhere": no — Zvuk works only with local models; cloud processing is not provided. Audio never leaves the Mac.
- Accounts API (live): POST https://zvukvtekst.ru/api/register, /api/login, GET /api/me (Bearer session token). License validation: GET https://zvukvtekst.ru/api/license/<KEY>. Key attach to an account is not yet open publicly.
- Integrations: none needed — text is inserted via simulated input or clipboard into any macOS app.
